Trombitán és zongorán kezdett tanulni 5 éves korában édesapjától, de 7 éves korában, miután tuberkolózist kapott, már csak zongorán tanult tovább. Legjelentősebb felvételein trióban játszik (zongora-bőgő-ütősök).
