Behemoth este o formaţie Death metal poloneză.

Urmând cărările vechilor eroi ca Venom, Frost sau primele acte black metal norvegiene, Behemoth şi-au început existenţa cu primele casete ("Endless Damnation") şi demo-uri ("The Return of the Northern Moon", cel mai semnificativ fiind al doilea "...From the Pagan Vastlands"), aratând potenţialul în creştere al principalului compozitor.
