Samuel Moore Walton (March 29, 1918 – April 6, 1992) is the person who created the well-known American stores, Wal-Mart and Sam's Club. Walton was born to Thomas Gibson Walton and Nancy Lee Walton near Kingfisher, Oklahoma. He is part of the Walton family, which is now the richest family in the world.
