English: Deforestation in Atlantic Forest Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. This hill was deforestated in order to use its clay in civil construction in Barra da Tijuca. Many trucks with the city public service logo worked on the hill destruction.
Português do Brasil: Morro da Covanca - Freguesia / Jacarepagua - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Esse morro foi destruído apesar de contra a lei para uso do saibro no aterro da vila do pan e na construção do sesi da barra. O ministério público em 2009 se movimentou para embargar a obra. Esse lugar é uma floresta nativa habitat de pássaros como o tucano, micos, araras e outros animais silvestres. Caminhões com o logotipo A SERVIÇO DA PREFEITURA trabalhavam diariamente destruindo o morro.
