Alec Foege

Alec Foege is an American author and magazine journalist. A former contributing editor to Rolling Stone, he is the author of three books: Confusion Is Next: The Sonic Youth Story (St. Martin's, 1994); The Empire God Built: Inside Pat Robertson's Media Machine (Wiley, 1996); and an upcoming book about the history of Clear Channel Communications, the world's largest radio company, due out in 2007 from Faber and Faber/Farrar, Straus & Giroux. His writing also has appeared in The New York Times, People (magazine), Mediaweek, Adweek, Fortune (magazine) Small Business, Spin (magazine), Variety, Vogue, Corporate Counsel and Veronis Suhler Stevenson's Communications Industry Forecast.
