Anaís (born Anaís Martínez on June 22, 1984 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is the winner of the second season of Objetivo Fama, a Puerto Rican reality-show-contest that airs on Univision Puerto Rico in that Caribbean island and the Telefutura network in the U.S. mainland. She is a dancer, singer, actor. She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic but now lives in The Bronx, New York. Her debut album Así Soy Yo ("The Way I Am") was released on April 14 2006. It contains the singles "Atrapada", "Lo que son las cosas", "Estoy con él y pienso en ti", and the latest single "Estar contigo". "Lo que son las cosas", which originally is a cover from Luis Márquez Angel, charted and peaked at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot Latin Tracks chart.
On September 16, 2006, she began her Así Soy Yo Tour in Puerto Rico.
