The Anderson wrestling family was a group of wrestlers over the years that were supposedly related. Gene Anderson started the family when he started teaming with his "brother" Lars Anderson (Lawrence Heinemi) as The Minnesota Wrecking Crew in the late 1960's. After that, "brother" Ole Anderson was added to the family and in the 1980's, "nephew/cousin/brother" Arn Anderson (who is Ole's son in law) was added to the family. Gene and Ole's sons are considered part of the "family" and C.W. Anderson has claimed links to the family at times. Ric Flair has been billed as a "cousin" of the Andersons on various occasions over the years.
Gene is the only real Anderson along with his son Brad.
