Anti-Iraq war protest in Sydney
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The anti-Iraq war protest in Sydney was one of the largest ones worldwide.
Approximately 250 000 people attended the rally, and then paraded from Hyde Park, in the city's south-east, around a small loop in the heart of the city, and out to the Domain west of the city.
The weather on the day was humid and overcast, and towards the end of the rally it started raining, and then pouring.
