Ayo Fayose

Peter Ayodele Fayose (b. 13 November 1960) has been governor of Ekiti State in Nigeria from 29 May 2003 to October 16 2006, when he was impeached. His administration was embroiled in a corruption scandal involving an agricultural development firm owned by his childhood friend, Gbenga James. He currently stands accused of mismanaging more than $11.5 million in his state. He was a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP)until his impeachment.
