Bernhard Rammerstorfer

Bernhard Rammerstorfer (*1968 in Austria) is an author and film producer.
In 1999 Rammerstorfer wrote the biography of the concentration camp survivor Leopold Engleitner, Unbroken Will: The Extraordinary Courage of an Ordinary Man (in German: Nein statt Ja und Amen), and produced an accompanying film documentary. In 2006 he produced the documentary “Unbroken Will Captivates the United States” which was premiered at the „Music Hall“ Theatre in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
During the last years Rammerstorfer and Engleitner held many lectures at various universities, schools and memorial sites in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the United States of America.
In 2004 Rammerstorfer and Engleitner made presentations at Columbia University in New York, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC, and the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles and in 2006 at Stanford University in Palo Alto (San Francisco Bay), Georgetown University in Washington, DC, Columbia University in New York, Harold Washington College in Chicago, the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois in Skokie and the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.
Rammerstorfer’s extraordinary commitment has resulted in widespread public recognition of Engleitner and resonance far beyond the borders of Austria.
