The Big Sioux River is a tributary of the Missouri River in the upper Midwest of the United States.
Its headwaters are in Pelican Lake in northeastern South Dakota, near the town of Watertown in the Coteau des Prairies.
This information is not correct. The Big Sioux River's headwaters are miles north of Pelican Lake. The Sioux flows into Lake Kampeska at an inlet/outlet at the north side of that lake. You can trace the Big Sioux further north of Watertown on any map to correct your information on this site.
