Blackpool Lights are an indie band founded in Kansas City, Missouri, that includes former Get Up Kids band member Jim Suptic.
The band Released their debut cd This Town's Disaster on June 20, 2006. They were Spin Magazine's Artist of the Day on June 19, 2006[1]
The band is currently supporting Social Distortion and Supersuckers on various upcoming tours of fall 2006. [2]
