Boston Common was a short-lived television sitcom that ran on NBC from 1996-97. It starred Anthony Clark (Yes, Dear) and took place in the city of Boston.

Anthony Clark portrayed Boyd Pritchett, a genial, easy-going twenty-something from Virginia (Clark is from Virginia in real life) who delivers his sister Wyleen (played by Hedy Burress) to college in Boston and decides to stay, much to her dismay. Boyd eventually gets a job at the college and shares an apartment with Wyleen.
The cast included Traylor Howard, Tasha Smith, and Steve Paymer in supporting roles. The show also boasted a long list of recurring character actors, including Robin Duke, Sam Anderson, D.C. Douglas, Zach Galifianakis and Margot Kidder.
The show was created by Max Mutchnick and David Kohan (of Will & Grace fame). They based the fictional school on Emerson College in Boston, which Clark attended in real life.
