Bruce Gordon (musician)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bruce Gordon (born August 8, 1968) is a Canadian musician. Born in England, he moved with his parents at the age of 5 to Canada. Bruce joined I Mother Earth in 1993 when their former bassist left the group. While he is credited on the album Dig, he did not actually play bass on it (Jag Tanna took over bass duty). Bruce has long been considered the most approachable member of the band, and kept a blog on I Mother Earth's official website, as well as frequently posting messages on the guestbook and message forum.
Bruce currently resides in Toronto, Ontario and teaches bass, and is currently involved in the Toronto production of Blue Man Group. He also is playing with lo-fi jazz band The Tiny Specks and funk improv band Hot Fo' Gandhi, the surf-noir band Experiment In Terror and the live electro-groove project Ostrich.
