[edit] Request for edit summary
Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 20% for major edits and 47% for minor edits. (Based on the last 121 major and 113 minor edits in the article namespace.)
This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 13:31, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Freddie Mercury
Hi, may I ask why you changed Mercury from "Persian/Iranian" to "Indian"? Didnt he consider himself Persian?
-
- It is a referenced fact that his Parents and Freddy Mercury were Persian. I can give you pages upon pages of articles, biographies and interviews with Freddie Mercury that would back this Stop taking it out, that is vandalism.Klymen 01:58, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hammer to Fall edit
Please be more careful of your edits. The article is about a particular song, not the rock group. The link you posted belongs on the Queen (band) article, if anywhere. You removed the link to Brian May's website. He is the song author. -- Cecropia 23:00, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

- Ah, I see. Half an apology and half an explanation. I inadvertently reverted your category additions, which are appropriate. The substitution I was referring to was what I said above, that you removed the link to Brian May's website, but added a link to the Queen pictures, which belong with the Queen article. I restored your category edits. -- Cecropia 00:56, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- You're right again, I didn't notice that the page was about "Hammer to Fall." My bad. -- Cecropia 16:02, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article on Mack
Hey man, check out what it says on Josh MacRae on AMW. And how can YOU be so sure??? You Germans...
And also: the contribution of AfganHistorian to the Freddie article was good and appropriate? Why did you revert it to the previous version. All that crap about Boremian Rhapsody doesn't belong in the opening. You Germans...Fenrir2000 13:19, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- (a) MACK ??? - Your wrote an 'article' about Macrae... There is absolutely no doubt that Mack and Macrae are different persons who have nothing to do with each other: Reinhold Mack was the producer of five Queen albums, Josh MacRae was the drummer of the band The Cross and co-produced some of Roger Taylor's solo albums. (b) "Why did you revert it to the previous version." I did't revert to the previous version (which is better and much more appropriate IMO). "All that crap about Boremian Rhapsody doesn't belong in the opening." I have no idea what you are talking about... - Candyfloss 23:06, 20 June 2006 (UTC); P.S.: See (new) article about Mack.
[edit] Barcelona (album)
Hi, why did you revert my edit here: [2]? Peter S. 20:48, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- See WikiProject Albums/Colors. -- Candyfloss 11:23, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- ok, didn't knew that. thanks. Peter S. 11:34, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Queen WikiProject
Hello, I have been reviewing the Queen WikiProject and it seams "dead". I would like to resurrect the project, I see you do a lot of editing of Queen articles and was wondering if you would like to help (I could really use some help). This project could be very good. Maybe we could get some help from the Beatles WikiProject.--Miketm 00:05, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Queen WikiProject
I am proposing a new system for non-single Queen songs. You do allot of editing to Queen song articles what do you think? (see:Wikipedia:WikiProject Queen/albums)--Miketm 02:56, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree - the articles on non-single songs should be part of the album articles (maybe with the exception of songs like "'39", "Brighton Rock" or "My Fairy King"?). By the way, some of the German album articles I have written (see e.g. Made in Heaven) are based on the same idea as well. --Candyfloss 22:11, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
