Carol McGiffin

Carol McGiffin (born February 18, 1960, Maidstone, Kent) is a British TV and radio presenter.
She started her broadcasting career in 1988 as co-host of the Chris Evans shows on GLR. McGiffin was Evans' first wife, but they separated in 1994, and were divorced in 1998.
In 1995 McGiffin was a founding member of the Talk Radio UK team, co-presenting the popular weekday evening show with Moz Dee. She moved to the breakfast slot, which she presented with Paul Ross.[1]
She has also co-hosted phone-in shows on LBC and BBC London Live. In 2002 she presented the late night talk show on Real Radio with Nick Abbot.
Since 2004 she has been a panellist on the ITV1 female-oriented chat and discussion show Loose Women. Between February and July 2006 she was the southern presenter of the Local Radio Company's night-time talk show North South Divided. Mike Elliott was her northern counterpart.
In August 2006 she began a regular Sunday morning show on LBC 97.3.
McGiffin is frequently teased by fellow "loose women" because of her reputed fondness for alcohol. More seriously she has been photographed by tabloid newspapers apparently intoxicated. Carol denies a problem, simply claiming that she enjoys her drink.
