Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola is a high school founded by the Society of Jesus in the town of Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1952. The original school was located in Santurce, but by 1956 the Jesuits moved the institution to its current location. Colegio San Ignacio is one of the most prestigious and recognized academic institutions on the island and has educated many of the most influential and outstanding leaders of Puerto Rico.
It is considered a college preparatory school, since 100% of graduates go on to pursue college degrees and around 50% of them study outside of the island, mainly in the continental United States. Many of them attend top-ranked colleges and universities, such as Columbia University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale University, Cornell University, Georgetown University, Harvard University, Stanford University, Princeton University, Brown University and Washington University in St. Louis.

It also includes an Auditorium, The administrative building houses the most of the administrative staff. There is a small plaza in the works for kids to play in during lunch. It is located next to the indoor basketball court.
As part of the curriculum, physical activities are involved, and for such there are three basketball courts (two outdoor hardcourts and one indoor wooden court), an olympic pool, one indoor volleyball court, two tennis/volleyball courts, a quarter mile track, a baseball field, and a soccer field.
[edit] School Anthem
