Cornwall Combination
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cornwall Combination is a football competition based in the Western half of Cornwall, England in the United Kingdom, formed in 1959.
The league has a single division, which sits at level 12 of the English football league system. The Champion club may apply for promotion to the South Western League, which is a level 11 league. The bottom clubs may get relegated to one of the level 13 leagues of the English football League System - normally the Falmouth & Helston League or the Mining League. In the 2005-06 season, Truro City's reserve side won the title.
No Cornwall Combination clubs are currently eligible for national competitions, the only time a club from the league has played in the FA Cup was when Falmouth Town played a single match in 1983-84, the only season Falmouth's first team played in the Combination.
The current league sponsors are drinks retailers Jolly's.
