Cuauhtémoc is one of the 16 delegaciones (boroughs) of the Mexican Federal District. Standing at the very heart of the Federal District, Cuauhtémoc contains downtown Mexico City. This delegación contains some of the most representative colonias in Mexico City, such as Condesa, Colonia Roma and Centro Histórico. It also includes the most emblematic street in the city, Paseo de la Reforma.
The borough is named after Cuauhtémoc, the last Aztec ruler of Tenochtitlán.
