Delaware/Maryland Route 54
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Delaware/Maryland Route 54 is a highway that runs through two states, Maryland and Delaware, which also forms the state line between the two states for roughly ten miles.
Route 54 starts in Mardela Springs, Maryland (Wicomico County) and continues for 3.53 miles before straddling the Maryland-Delaware line. The state line portion of Route 54 runs through central Delmar (with the Delaware portion to the north and the Maryland portion to the south). After leaving Delmar, the highway straddles the state line until it passes MD 353. Thereafter, it enters into Delaware.
In Sussex County, Route 54 travels through Selbyville before ending at Fenwick Island, one-half mile north of Ocean City, Maryland.
