[edit] Sales information
Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training 2 sold 414,556 copies on its first four days of availability, [1] breaking the previous record set by Animal Crossing: Wild World and becoming the fastest selling Nintendo DS game ever, until New Super Mario Bros. debuted with 899,518 copies sold in its first four days of availability.[2]
Selling more copies than the original game, it has been speculated that this was due the addition of the yellow bar, which is used in Japan to indicate packages with extra content.[3]
