The book Dragon Keeper by Carole Wilkinson is the tale of a slave girl named Ping that escapes to freedom with the help of the last Imperial Dragon. The dragon's name is Long Danzi. Ping and Danzi set out on a quest to take The Dragon Stone to Ocean. A dragon hunter named Diao doesn't make their job easier.
