Dulee Johnson, born November 7, 1984 in Monrovia, Liberia, is a Liberian professional footballer playing for Swedish side AIK. Johnson played in the youth tournament Gothia Cup in 1998 and was spotted by local Swedish club Floda BoIF. In 2001 he switched to the Gothia Cup organizing club, BK Häcken which at that time played in the first division. Häcken were relegated after the 2001 season, but Johnson remained. In 2004 he was part of the squad that returned to the Allsvenskan.
In the summer of 2005 Johnson was charged with battery of his wife, and driving under the influence of alcohol. In January 2006 he was sentenced to community service and shortly afterwards he was forced to leave BK Häcken. He quickly signed for promoted AIK.
In AIK Johnson's personal life was put on the agenda, with the club providing assistance. Johnson signed a one-year contract with the option of two more years should the club find Johnson's behavior satisfying. When star midfielder Derek Boateng left the club in July 2006 Johnson became the natural successor and has excelled as one of the league's best midfielders. The club is also vying for the championship title, with Johnson being a key to success.
