Dziennik Polska-Europa-Świat (Polish: Daily Poland-Europe-World) is a new Polish nationwide daily newspaper published by Axel Springer Polska, modelled on Welt Kompakt, the compact edition of Die Welt. The first issue was released on April 18th 2006, and in May 2006 it recorded a circulation of 259,039 source, giving it the third largest circulation amongst national newspapers. Dziennik was designed as a daily newspaper competitive to Gazeta Wyborcza, therefore it's political profile is rather conservative, in contrast to it's liberal rival. In most cases, however, it presents a broad spectrum of views on it's pages.
