Endicott College

Endicott College is a co-educational independent college located in Beverly, Massachusetts, 32 kilometers north of Boston. The college is on a 210-acre oceanfront campus and grants Master and Bachelor degrees combining liberal and professional arts.
Thirty-seven buildings include the recently renovated Halle Library, the Wax Academic Center, Art Center and Callahan Center. The Post Sports Science and Fitness Center includes specialized classrooms for sports-related degrees. The multi-plex athletic facility with a synthetic turf field opened in August 2003 and is home to the soccer, lacrosse and football teams. Twenty residence halls range in architectural styles from Victorian mansions to modern townhouses and apartments. Over 1,350 students reside on campus. All residence halls provide voice, video and data access. The student population of 1700 includes approximately 7% international students from 37 countries, primarily Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe. The college actively recruits international students and recognizes many advanced high-school diplomas for college credit.
Academic offerings include advertising, athletic training, business administration, communications, computer science, creative arts therapy, criminal justice, elementary and early childhood education, English, entrepreneurial studies, environmental studies, financial management, global studies, graphic design/visual communications, hospitality and tourism administration, history, human services, journalism studies, law and government, liberal studies, management, marketing, nursing, physical education teacher licensure, psychology, and sport management. Internships are required in all majors. The centerpiece of an Endicott education remains a practical approach to learning including hands-on experience that offers professional experience and academic credit allowance. The student to faculty ratio is 16:1. On-campus academic laboratories include nursing and technology, a $1 million communication center, radio, television and art studios. The Hospitality and Tourism Administration program runs a restaurant, La Chanterelle.
There are many activities and clubs. In intercollegiate sports, Endicott participates in the Commonwealth Coast and the New England Football Conferences, and in NCAA Division III in men's and women's equestrian, soccer, field hockey, golf, tennis, American football, baseball, basketball, cross-country, lacrosse, softball, and volleyball.

This very selective program involves the study, design, development, implementation, and support or management of computer-based information systems. The overwhelming majority of businesses, organizations, schools, and government agencies are affected in some way by the work of computer science professionals. The Computer Science degree program is designed to prepare students to participate in the rapidly changing world of information technology. Endicott College recognizes the importance of educating students who understand information technology and its applications in education, business, and government, and who can apply the technologies to meet the existing and future needs of users in organizations throughout society.
