Eric Marienthal

Eric Marienthal is a jazz saxophonist best known for his work as a member of the Chick Corea Elektric Band. He is also a successful solo artist, with most solo recordings being of the smooth jazz genre.
Marienthal studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Marienthal then joined a band led by trumpeter Al Hirt. Eric then went on to become a member of the Disneyland Band, which is where Chick Corea discovered him.
Eric Marienthal is currently Lead Alto for Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band.
