Fossano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 60 km south of Turin and about 25 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 24,198 and an area of 130.7 km2.[1]
Fossano borders the following municipalities: Bene Vagienna, Centallo, Cervere, Genola, Montanera, Salmour, Sant'Albano Stura, Savigliano, Trinità, Villafalletto.
