Andrew Oakley is based in Gloucestershire, UK and is responsible for designing anti-spam systems for a major computer security firm.
In the past he has been a web developer, financial systems programmer, goth/industrial DJ, Young Conservative, 1980's computer magazine contributor and political campaigner for the arts and rural life. He also helped create the uk.people.gothic Usenet newsgroup, for which he wrote and edited the FAQ for a number of years.
Born in 1971, Andrew grew up in Shropshire and completed his Business Computer Systems degree at Cheltenham & Gloucester College (later Gloucestershire University).
