Faria Elementary School, commonly known as the Faria A+ School is a public elementary school and magnet school in the Faria neighborhood of Cupertino, California. It is one of the few elementary schools in the United States to reach an API score of nearly 1000, in 2004 achieving a score of 993 and is ranked the top elementary school in the state of California.
As of 2004, Asian Americans (mainly Chinese Americans and Indian Americans) comprised approximately 94% of the student body, with the remainder being whites. The parent education data showed that 83% of the students' parents had attended graduate school.
Admission is based on a lottery under which all elementary-age students under the CUSD are eligible.
