Filip Kuba (born December 29, 1976, in Ostrava, Czech Republic) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman in the National Hockey League, playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Kuba has played his last 3 seasons with Minnesota, and has also played for the Florida Panthers. He was drafted in 1995 by Florida. His best season was 2000-01 when he had 30 points. Kuba is the Wild's all time leader in scoring among defensemen.
On July 1, 2006, Kuba signed with the Tampa Bay Lightning as a unrestricted free agent.
