Film School (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Film School is a five-piece indie rock band from San Franciso, California, and New York, New York.
[edit] Musical career
The band was formed in the late 1990s by lead singer Krayg Burton. Initially the band only consisted of Burton working with members of Fuck, Pavement and Elephone when they released their debut album A Brilliant Career on Beggar's Banquet Records in 2001. Jason Ruck (keyboards), Nyles Lannon (guitarist), Justin LaBo (bass guitar), and Ben Montesano (drums) joined the band on a permanent basis later that year. Lannon, Labo, and Montesano had previously worked together in the band Techicolor. National tours of the US and UK followed, and a new album will be released in winter of 2006.
