FK Ventspils is a Latvian football club, playing in the town of Ventspils.
They have appeared in the UEFA Cup qualifiers on occasions, notably in a qualifying round versus Newcastle United of England in 2006, though this was held at the Stadionas Skonto in Riga for television purposes. Newcastle went on to win the tie 1-0 on aggregate but were frequently frustrated with Ventspils' defensive display.
FK Ventspils currently lead the Latvian league with a record amount of games unbeaten.
