Flag of Guam

The flag of Guam was adopted on February 9, 1948. The territorial flag is dark blue with a narrow red border on all four sides. In the center of the flag is a red- bordered and pointed vertical ellipse. It contains a beach scene, outrigger canoe complete with sail, and a palm tree with the word GUAM colored in bold red letters.
