Fort Lincoln was a military post and detention center located near Bismarck, North Dakota.
First established as a military post in 1898 following the retirement of Fort Abraham Lincoln, in 1941 it was converted into a detainment center for German prisoners of war, and U.S. citizens of Japanese and German descent. Fort Lincoln held up to 3600 prisoners.
After World War II, the post was retired. The land is now the site of United Tribes Technical College.
