Gavorrano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Grosseto in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 100 km southwest of Florence and about 25 km northwest of Grosseto. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,517 and an area of 164.2 km2.[1]
The municipality of Gavorrano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bagno di Gavorrano, Caldana, and Filare.
Gavorrano borders the following municipalities: Castiglione della Pescaia, Grosseto, Massa Marittima, Roccastrada, Scarlino.
