Released by Japan in 1980, Gentlemen Take Polaroids continued in the vein of their previous album, Quiet Life. It was constructed around a concept of a man driving along a road at night.
Interestingly enough, the band Duran Duran were at AIR Studios at the same time recording demos.
This was the last album to feature guitarist Rob Dean.
