Georgie Auld

Georgie Auld (born May 19, 1919 in Toronto; died January 8, 1990 in Palm Springs, California) was a jazz tenor saxophonist and bandleader. He lived in the United States from the late 1920s onward. In the mid-1940s he had a popular big band.[1] In 1977 he played a bandleader in the box-office failure New York, New York and also acted as a technical consultant for the film.[2]
