Gestoras pro Amnistía
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gestoras pro Amnistía ("Management groups for amnesty" in Spanish) is a Basque group formed by relatives of ETA prisoners to ask for an amnesty that would lead to their release.
Since its illegalization by Spanish courts, its role has been taken by Senideak and Etxerat.
Several Basque political instances including the Basque autonomous government led by Juan José Ibarretxe provide grants for families to visit their incarcerated relatives, purposefully scattered over Spanish prisons.
