Gouvy

Gouvy is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. On 1 January 2006 the municipality had 4,690 inhabitants. The total area is 165.11 km², giving a population density of 28 inhabitants per km².
The municipality was created in 1977 from the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Beho, Bovigny, Cherain, Limerlé, and Montleban. The administrative headquarters are situated in Bovigny.
