GuruKiran is a talented music director of Kannada film industry.He is native of Mangalore in Dakshina Kannada district. He has scored music in many Kannada movies in recent times.He received a breakthrough by providing music to Kannada film Upendra. He used western beats in Kannada films, a first among the film music. He also set trend of using Indian and western musical instruments in film songs by synchoronising two system.He is today known for his foot tapping music. [1]
