Gutnish
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gutnish is the old language of the Swedish island of Gotland. It was used both as a spoken and written language until late medieval times. Today it still exists as a spoken language, but is greatly mixed with Swedish to the extent that it is considered a dialect of Swedish, and has many variants. The knowledge in the language is pretty weak both with the Gutnish people and the Swedes. It is not recognized by authorities as a minority language.
