Harald II of Denmark

Harold II of Denmark (c. 994–1018) was king of Denmark from 1014 to 1018. He was the eldest son of Sweyn I of Denmark and Gunhilda and was regent while his father was fighting Ethelred the Unready in England. He inherited the Danish throne in 1014 and died in 1018. After his death, he was succeeded by his brother, Canute.
