[edit] A memory
For a while in the late 1970s, Holiday on Ice was based in Knoxville, Tennessee in its off (summer) season, when the show were prepared and rehearsed for the beginning of touring in the fall. The company had a softball team, which resulted in seeing scores in the agate type of the Knoxville News-Sentinel's sports pages such as "TVA 14, Holiday on Ice 5". Not particularly the softball team but the story of HoI's off-season homes, or at least a listing, would be a great touch if someone is a real skating afficianado/historian and could provide such.
