[edit] Sligo Inner Relief Road
I reverted the Sligo page to remove the following by you:
- 'The "Inner-Relief Road" was originally designed to be a ring-road, but the planners quickly changed the name following the stark and shocking realisation that the new road was not going to ring the town but go straight through it.'
It doesn't really bear comment, except to say that more than 25 years ago (c. 1980/81 when I was about 10 years old) I knew that this road was planned to go through the town. If the children in the town knew this, it's hardly likely that the town planners were "surprised" by it. Please read the guidelines to use of Wikipedia.
