Indianapolis Hoosiers

Indianapolis Hoosiers can refer to four different baseball clubs based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- A team who played in the American Association in 1884 and finished in the 12th place with a 29-78 record.
- A team who played three consecutive seasons in the National League from 1887 to 1889 and posted records of 37-89 (8th), 50-85 (7th) and 59-75 (7th), respectively.
- A team that was a member of the Western League, predecessor to the American League. This team was contracted when the Western League became the American League in 1901.
- A team who won the Federal League championship in 1914 with a 88-65 record. The next season, the team moved to Newark, New Jersey in part by financial problems, and was known as the Newark Peppers, which finished in the 5th place with a 80-72 record. The team played at Federal League Park. Many Hoosiers players had American and National League experience, including Edd Roush and Cy Falkenberg.
