Industrial hardcore
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Industrial hardcore is a term used to describe the crossover of hardcore techno and rhythmic noise. Compared to other hardcore styles like darkcore, which uses the influence of gabba, and speedcore, which concentrates on exceedingly high beats per minute, industrial hardcore is focused more on overly distorted snares along with interchanging sampled bass drum loops. Industrial hardcore utilizes the darker image of industrial and is often political. Pieces of dark ambient and death industrial can be found in industrial hardcore tracks as a transition between drum choruses and tempo changes.
