Interstate 195 (abbreviated I-195) in Maryland is a spur of Interstate 95 just south of Baltimore that travels from Interstate 95 to Baltimore-Washington International Airport. There are also exits for U.S. Route 1, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, and Maryland Route 170 (which is part of the "Airport Loop"). The total length of I-195 in Maryland is 4.88 miles. The speed limit for most of I-195 is 60 miles per hour. There is a sudden drop in the speed limit to 30 miles per hour after exit 1 until the airport. I-195 was completed in 1989 after five years of construction. I-195 passes through Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties.
