Jannali East Public School is a primary school located in Sydney Australia, NSW, with an enrollment of 175. Opened in 1956, it has a bushland setting and serves a diverse community with varying incomes and cultural backgrounds. As of 2006, the school principal is Richard Morey.

[edit] Environmental loop track
An "environmental loop track" through the bushland near the school was set up by the parents and teachers giving up their weekends, and aided by a grant from the State Government's ecoschools program.[citation needed] The track supports many varieties of native plants such as mosses and lilly pillies and serves almost as a bush classroom. Local MP and former schoolteacher Barry Collier described it as "wonderful environmental education resource".

Every Friday, the whole school does sport in the afternoon. The choices are: Soccer, Basketball, Cricket, Netball, School Games.
Attendance of Athletics Carnivals, Swimming Carnivals & Cross Country carnivals is compulsory.
They also have an Athletics Carnival, Cross Country & Swimming Carnival, once every year.
Students in grade 3-6 are offered a variety of interschool sports or skills training at school.
