[edit] Who I Am
I'm a sporadic contributor to the project. I'm not quite a committed Wikipedian; I'm more of a relapsing Wikiaddict. I'm also a rookie lawyer with a science background.

[edit] What I'm Working On Now
I'm thinking about C.J. Cherryh's treatment of family throughout her novels, particularly with regard to the recurring theme of an outsider finding his place. I would like to find an appropriate way to integrate some discussion of family into the Major Themes section of her article.
Possible topics include Cherryh's treatment of:
- What family is
- Family-like groups composed of unrelated people
- Created families
- Inclusion of outsiders in existing families
- Hierarchies within families
- Family honor and reputation
- Family politics
- Political families
- Family strife and tension
- Families as burdens or sources of discouragement
- Independence or individualism and family
- Rejection of one's family
- Loss of one's family
- Living without a family
