I spend most of my editing time correcting grammar errors and smoothing out readability, and more recently I've taken to de-puffing and NPOVing college articles, starting with the Ivies, who seem to be in a POV arms race of some kind. I used to try to speak for the voice of reason at George W. Bush but... too many crazies, on both sides. I've been a deletionist, but have become more of an inclusionist recently. I've seen too many articles which I thought should be deleted grow and become something that Wikipedia can really be proud of. (Non-notable band entries still greatly irk me for some reason, though. I'm not sure why.)

I was recently made an administrator, so if you need somebody to show up somewhere with a mop and bucket, gimme a holler.

The Cunctator made a comment about Wiki policy which deserves repeating: "More complexity is probably less desired than more simplicity." So if you're involved in a policy debate, remember, streamlining the rules and not carving out exceptions for a specific type of article (or template, or user, or image, or...) is the best way to go. With that said, also remember that we're ultimately here to write an encyclopedia, not to write policy about how to write an encyclopedia. If you too are having trouble remembering what we all came here for, I invite you to read The Koan of Jimbo over and over until you are find peace and balance, and are again ready to make a go at writing the most comprehensive encyclopedia in the history of human civilization.

I've been wikiing for a while and am now into a four-digit edit count, but still haven't come up with anything amazingly creative for this page, so if you feel like sprucing the place up, please be my guest.
